Turkmenistan to improve passenger and freight transportation by motor vehicles

On 14 November, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Mammetkhan Chakyyev reported to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov on the measures being taken to bring the regulatory and legal framework of the automobile transport sector in line with modern requirements.

As noted, all these steps will help improve the organization of work in the motor transport industry and enhance the quality and competitiveness of services provided to passengers.

In this context, the vice-premier submitted the corresponding proposal for consideration.

Summarizing the information presented, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov highlighted the effectiveness of the measures being taken to modernize the relevant sector. Approving the proposal to improve passenger and freight transportation by motor vehicles, the head of Turkmenistan instructed that the necessary work be carried out.
