Turkmenistan to chair the Consultative Meeting of Central Asian Heads of State in 2026

Turkmenistan will make every effort to strengthen unity, cohesion, and economic partnership in Central Asia. President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov stated this at the Consultative Meeting of Central Asian Heads of State held on November 16 in Tashkent, where he accepted, on behalf of the country, the chairmanship of this high-level political forum from the Republic of Uzbekistan.

“By assuming the chairmanship of the Consultative Meeting of Central Asian Heads of State, Turkmenistan will make every effort to strengthen our unity, cohesion, and economic partnership, to enhance the region’s attractiveness for substantial foreign investment, and to implement large-scale international projects in energy, transport, communications, and other sectors,” the President of Turkmenistan assured.
