Representatives of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan participated in the 4th Annual Conference of Centers for the Development of Personal Talents and the Meeting of International Partners, held in Svetlogorsk, Kaliningrad Region, Russian Federation, from October 27 to November 1, 2025, jointly organized by the Institute for Information Technologies in Education (IITE) and the Future Investment Charitable Foundation.
On October 29, the opening ceremony of the 4th Annual Conference of Centers for the Development of Personal Talents and the Meeting of International Partners was held at the Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University.
The Conference and the Meeting of International Partners were attended by about 220 representatives from the Central Asian countries of Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and the Republic of Belarus, as well as from 32 regions of the Russian Federation.
In the second half of the day, participants participated in a workshop on the international initiative for improving the professional level of teachers entitled “Expanding Opportunities: Education for Health and Well-being in a Personality-Developing Educational Environment.”
As a result of the workshop, it was announced that it is planned to organize online training courses for teachers to improve their professional level and to prepare online courses in different languages, including Turkmen.
On October 30, a tour of the classrooms and facilities of Kaliningrad Autonomous General Secondary School No. 57 was organized, including the work of the Quantorium laboratories operating at the school.
The Quantorium Children’s Technology Park was created in 2023 with the support of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation as part of the Modern School project (https://edu.gov.ru/). It aims to expand the content of general education to develop students’ modern skills, including scientific, mathematical and information literacy, as well as critical and creative thinking.
The Quantorium Children's Technology Park is part of the educational environment of a general education institution and provides the following:
- teaching subjects related to “Natural Sciences”, “Mathematics and Computer Sciences” and “Technology”;
- elective subjects for students at the primary and secondary levels of education;
- extracurricular activities for studying natural sciences and technology subjects;
- additional education for children in natural sciences and technology programs;
- extracurricular activities for students, including competitions, intellectual and creative competitions and Olympiads;
- joint organization of educational events for children and teachers from other educational institutions, as well as support and interaction with other general educational institutions.
Participated in the plenary session titled “Human-AI Collaboration in Education: Opportunities for Professional and Personal Development” organized at Secondary School No. 57.
At the session, the following speeches were given on the topics:
- “Education and technology in the era of artificial intelligence”;
- “Artificial intelligence at the service of people and business”;
- “Presentation of artificial intelligence tools developed for schools by the National Engineering Research Center for the Study of Cybersecurity and Intelligent Technologies”;
- “Digital skills and abilities in practice” by the “Contribution to the Future” charitable foundation”.
On October 30, in the afternoon, the participants participated in the interactive section “Create with AI”.
As a result of the working visit, the Institute for Information Technologies in Education (IITE) and the Sberbank Charitable Foundation “Contributing to the Future” presented the following recommendations:
• Use of training materials on artificial intelligence on the educational platform of the Sberbank Charitable Foundation “Contribution to the Future”;
• Join the roadmap of the international initiative “Expanding Opportunities: Education for Health and Well-being in a Personality-Developing Educational Environment” to improve the professional level of teachers of educational institutions. The aim of this international initiative is to stimulate international cooperation between educational institutions in order to develop and promote tools for creating a personally stimulating educational environment, socio-emotional development and a healthy lifestyle for the development, health and well-being of students;
• Participation in international certified training courses for teachers of educational institutions on the EduHub (https://eduhub.pro/) platform. It is intended primarily for secondary school teachers, school principals, school psychologists and teachers of pedagogy and psychology departments of higher and secondary vocational schools. The trainings are scheduled for November 3, 2025 and February 2, 2026;
• Preparation of digital materials (video lessons and manuals).
