Turkmenistan and the OSCE discussed priority areas of cooperation

On November 19, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov held a telephone conversation with Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe Secretary General Feridun Sinirlioglu.
During the conversation, the parties discussed priority areas of cooperation between Turkmenistan and the OSCE, noting the stable dynamics of interaction and the constructive nature of the partnership.
The interlocutors placed particular emphasis on the importance of coordinating efforts in the international arena and discussed a number of issues aimed at further strengthening peace, security, and sustainable development. They also noted the significant role of Turkmenistan's positive neutrality in achieving these goals at both the regional and global levels.
Special attention was paid to preparations for the International Forum on Peace and Trust, which will be held in Ashgabat on December 12.
