Turkmenistan participated in the First meeting of Caspian region governors in Iran

A delegation from Turkmenistan, led by Khodjamyrat Ashirmyradov, Governor of the Balkan Province, paid a working visit to the Gilan Province of the Islamic Republic of Iran. The purpose of the visit was to participate in the First Meeting of Caspian Region Governors, held in the city of Rasht.
The speakers' speeches highlighted strengthening trade and economic cooperation between the Caspian states, developing new areas of interaction, and establishing cooperation with the Persian Gulf regions.
During the visit, the Governor of the Balkan Province met with the Governor of the Astrakhan Region of the Russian Federation and the Governor of the Gilan Province of Iran.
The delegation also learned about the port facilities located in the Anzali Free Trade Zone in the Gilan Province and visited an exhibition showcasing the region's economic potential.
