The 4th International Forum “Commonwealth of Fashion” in the city of St. Petersburg

On 19-20 November 2025, at the invitation of the Chairperson of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, Valentina Matvienko, Vice-President for Medical Affairs of the Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship named after Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, O. Atabaeva, took part in the work of the 4th International Forum “Commonwealth of Fashion” in the city of St. Petersburg.

On the Turkmen side, the events were attended by a delegation comprising representatives of the Foundation as well as relevant government bodies responsible for social protection, health care, education and children’s rights. As part of the forum, fashion shows of collections by designers from various countries were presented, including a showcase of Turkmen national costumes.

Within the framework of the forum, O. Atabaeva spoke at the session “It’s Fashionable to Be Healthy”, presenting the experience of the Charitable Foundation named after Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov in supporting children in need of guardianship and in promoting a healthy lifestyle among the younger generation. The participation of the Turkmen delegation contributed to the exchange of experience in developing charitable and humanitarian initiatives, strengthening cooperation in the field of social protection of children, and expanding cultural ties between Turkmenistan and the Russian Federation.
