National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Hero-Arkadag familiarised with the course of preparation for the 30th anniversary of permanent neutrality of our fatherland

Under the leadership of the National Leader of the Turkmen People and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, a regular meeting of the State Organizing Committee for events marking the International Year of Peace and Trust and the 30th anniversary of the permanent Neutrality of the Fatherland was held on November 22. Hero Arkadag also inspected the preparations for the international events at relevant facilities in the capital.

Arriving at the Monument to Neutrality, Hero Arkadag emphasized the importance of careful attention to the design of this area, as well as the strength and durability of the building materials used. Furthermore, the green spaces created in this area, as well as their maintenance, must meet high environmental standards.

All planned international events must reflect our country's neutral status and the peace-loving policy pursued under the leadership of the President of Turkmenistan, Hero Arkadag said, offering valuable advice on this matter.

The National Leader of the Turkmen People then inspected the progress of improvement work in the capital.

Hero Arkadag emphasized that the capital's cleanliness and amenities must be closely monitored and provided helpful recommendations to the relevant leaders. The tasks set to further enhance the international prestige of our independent, permanently neutral homeland must be fully accomplished.

Hero Arkadag reviewed the facilities created for the organized conduct of the planned events. Every effort must be made to ensure the high level of organization of international conferences, which will contribute to the effectiveness of international events.

Hero Arkadag noted that all conditions must be created to properly serve guests based on national traditions. It was emphasized that a comprehensive approach is needed to holding international events marking significant dates.

The principles of Turkmen hospitality are essential for creating a pleasant impression of Turkmenistan and its hardworking people among visiting guests, Hero Arkadag said, giving specific instructions to the relevant officials.

En route, the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty stopped at a reservoir fed by mountain springs. The structure, known as "Bitaraplyk" (literally, "water reservoir"), blends harmoniously with the local architectural landscape, creating a unique beauty alongside the capital's white marble buildings.

Speaking about the importance of water for the soil, Hero Arkadag emphasized the importance of maintaining the reservoir's cleanliness and rational water use. Noting the results of ongoing work in this area, Hero Arkadag gave valuable recommendations to the relevant officials on the careful management of water resources and the proper use of floodwaters.
