A meeting was held with Turkmen students in Almaty

On 21 November 2025, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Kazakhstan organized a thematic event at the Kazakh National Research Technical University named after K.I.Satbayev in Almaty, dedicated to the remarkable occasion – the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s permanent neutrality.

As part of the program, a meeting was held with Turkmen students studying in Almaty. They were provided with detailed information on the outcomes of the meeting of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, which took place on 19 September 2025.

During the event, it was emphasized that Turkmenistan’s foreign policy strategy, successfully implemented under the wise leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, who continues the initiatives of the Hero-Arkadag, enjoys broad international support and is founded on the legal status of permanent neutrality. Serving as the basis for peaceful coexistence, security, and sustainable development in the region, this unique doctrine has proven to be an effective instrument that has enabled Turkmenistan to remain a reliable partner and an active participant in global processes for 30 years.

Participants were also informed about a series of major events held in 2025, as well as the upcoming International Forum of Peace and Trust scheduled for December of this year.

A video showcasing Turkmenistan’s key achievements in socio-economic and cultural development in recent years was presented to the audience.

Turkmen students prepared a cultural program that included national songs, poetry recitals, and traditional dances, including the well-known “Kushtdepdi” dance.

At the end of the event, a representative of the Embassy of Turkmenistan held a meeting with the university’s leadership, during which current issues related to the education of Turkmen students were discussed.
