President of Kazakhstan to visit Turkmenistan to attend the International Forum marking the 30th anniversary of Neutrality

During the state visit of the President of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Kazakhstan, high-level talks between Presidents Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Kassym-Jomart Tokayev took place on November 25.

Kazakhstan attaches great importance to the comprehensive development of cooperation with Turkmenistan based on the principles of good-neighborliness and mutual support, noted the leader of the friendly country, expressing confidence that through joint efforts the strategic partnership will continue to strengthen in the interests of the two brotherly nations.

Kazakhstan highly values the achievements Turkmenistan has made under the wise leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov in the economic sphere and on the international stage, the Kazakh leader continued, taking the opportunity to congratulate the head of state and the entire brotherly Turkmen people on the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s permanent Neutrality.

Kazakhstan supports Turkmenistan’s peace-loving policy and its initiatives aimed at strengthening peace and sustainable development in the region, emphasized President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, noting the importance of the events held by Turkmenistan together with the UN during the International Year of Peace and Trust. In this regard, the leader of the neighboring country confirmed his participation in the high-level Forum to be held in December in Ashgabat.
