A methodological conference was recently held at the Oguz Han Engineering and Technology University of Turkmenistan, with the participation of English language teachers from the country's higher education institutions.
In the Revival of the New Epoch of the Powerful State, extensive work is being carried out within the education system, driven by the leadership of our Hero Arkadag and our Honorable President Arkadagly Hero Serdar. Significant opportunities are being created to enhance the professional knowledge of educational staff. A clear example of this commitment is the participation of 25 English language teachers from various higher and secondary schools in Turkmenistan in a training seminar. This seminar was held in Almaty, Kazakhstan, between July 7 and August 4, 2025, as part of the U.S. regional program C5+ONE (Opening Networks through English for Professional Purposes), during the 2025 International Year of Peace and Trust. The C5+ONE program event brought together English language teachers from five Central Asian countries: Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan.
Participating teachers engaged in valuable professional exchange, sharing personal experiences and best practices for teaching English. They also presented successful examples of utilizing digital technologies in the education of students and undergraduates. This program is structured around three interconnected stages and encompasses frequent English language courses, national and regional seminars, webinars, and online communications. It also includes site visits and activities related to professional development, mentorship, and alumni relations.
We express our deepest gratitude to our Hero Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Serdar for providing educational personnel with the wide-ranging opportunities to participate in such a significant regional training program and to continually improve their professional expertise.
