International achievements of students in mathematics olympiads in the Republic of Poland

The 7th International Student Team Olympiad in Mathematics (ISTCiM-2025) was held from November 6 to 9, 2025, and was organized by the University of Silesia in Katowice, Poland. Teams consisting of students from the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International Oil and Gas University, Magtymguly Turkmen State University, Oguz Khan University of Engineering and Technology of Turkmenistan, International University for Humanities and Development, S.A. Niyazov Turkmen Agricultural University, Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Civil Engineering, and the State Energy Institute of Turkmenistan participated in the Olympiad.

Kerimguly Bendov and Islam Khaitmukhammedov, students from the Faculty of Digital Technologies and Cybersecurity at the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International Oil and Gas University, successfully competed in the team competition and won a silver medal. Kerimguly Bendov, a university student, also won a silver medal, placing second in the individual competition. These achievements were a special gift for the students on the 30th anniversary of our permanent neutrality.

Students from higher education institutions in the Republic of Austria, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, the Republic of Poland, the Republic of Slovenia, the Italian Republic, the Kingdom of Spain, the Federal Republic of Germany and the French Republic took part in this prestigious competition, which took place at the University of Silesia.

Success in international competitions is a result of our country's public policy in education. The victories achieved in Katowice, Poland, demonstrate the emergence of new talented young people in science and education, whose knowledge and skills are recognized internationally.
