A POET WITH THE KINDEST SOUL

In our peaceful and prosperous country, every day is filled with celebrations that fuel the spirit of unity. The people have a deep commitment to a growing and peaceful Homeland. Among the events taking place in the year of "International Peace and Trust", a special place was occupied by the 75th anniversary of the beloved children's writer Khemra Shirov, winner of the Golden Age of Turkmen Presidential Contest, winner of the jubilee medal "In honor of the 300th anniversary of Makhtumkuli Fragi".

In the context of this celebration, Hemra Shirov recently became an honored guest of the students, sharing with them a piece of his wisdom. The poet's works, addressed to young hearts, are absorbed by students with keen interest and sincere pleasure.

The students of secondary school No. 51 in Ashgabat animatedly recited the poet's poems, staged excerpts from his works and contributed to the festive atmosphere. The master of words himself read fascinating math puzzles to the children, tongue twisters that develop clarity of speech, and had a lively conversation in the form of questions and answers. The mastermind emphasized that by becoming a friend of the book, one can comprehend the limitless, and urged the children to value time by immersing themselves in the world of reading.

Thus, the event was complemented by an exhibition of early editions of books. H. Shirov and his complete works, organized by the B. Amanov State Children's Library. This initiative not only marked the anniversary, but also inspired the younger generation with a love of literature and creativity.
