THE VELAYAT STAGE OF THE COMPETITION BASED ON THE BOOK " YOUTH IS THE PILLAR OF THE FATHERLAND "

The Education Department of the Balkan Velayat, together with the Center for Advanced Training of teachers and preschool educators and the Balkan Velayat Committee of the Makhtumkuli Youth Organization, held the regional stage of the competition among 11th-12th grade students based on the book presented to our people by the esteemed President, "Ýaşlar — Watanyň daýanjy" (Youth is the pillar of the Fatherland).

The purpose of the competition is to fulfill the tasks arising from the Decree of the President of Turkmenistan No. 1251 dated January 24, 2025 "On approval of the State Program for the Development of the Library System of Turkmenistan for 2025-2029" and the order of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan No. 49 dated February 17, 2025. The main objectives are to study the book "Youth is the mainstay of the Motherland" in depth, to know its contents by heart and to develop a stable reading habit among young people.

The competition was attended by students of grades 11-12, winners of the city and etrap stages. The participants answered questions based on the book using digital technologies and computer programs. According to the results of testing among 11th grade students, the main prize was awarded to Tazegul Nurdzhanova (secondary school No. 24, Balkanabat). The first place was taken by Zulfiya Artykova (Bayram Shahir School No. 8, Zhebel), the second place was taken by Tumar Aydogdieva (A. Geldiev school No. 17, Gyzylarbat) and Humayu Shikhyeva (school No. 17, Turkmenbashi), the third place was taken by Arzuv Shukurova (school No. 15, Turkmenbashi).

Among 12th grade students, Byagul Nuralyeva (specialized school No. 22, Balkanabat) won the main prize. The first place was taken by Byagul Pirlieva (special school No. 21, Balkanabat), the second place was taken by Ismail Khodjamukhammedov (special school No. 23, Kyzylarbat), the third place was taken by Medine Garayeva (school No. 25, Kyzylarbat).

The winners were awarded diplomas from the Balkan Velayat Education Department and memorable gifts from the Makhtumkuli Youth Organization.
