Gala reception was held in Ashgabat to mark Romania's National Day

A gala reception dedicated to Romania's National Day was held in Ashgabat on December 1. Turkmenistan's Minister of Finance and Economy, Mammetguly Astanagulov, highlighted the significant experience of mutually beneficial partnership accumulated between Turkmenistan and Romania over 33 years.
As noted, the Joint Turkmen-Romanian Intergovernmental Commission on Economic, Scientific, and Technical Cooperation and the Turkmen-Romanian Working Groups in Energy and Transport play an important role in developing cooperation.
Astanagulov emphasized that the parties' shared commitment to developing various cooperation mechanisms facilitates the effective implementation of joint projects in priority sectors, including energy, industry, transport, agriculture, tourism, and humanitarian affairs.
In turn, Romanian Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Turkmenistan Ion Naval praised Turkmenistan's foreign policy activities and congratulated the country's leadership on the upcoming International Day of Neutrality.
