A creative competition titled "Peace: The Voice of Children" took place in Turkmenistan, with the participation of students from grades 4–12 of the country's general education schools. The event was organized by the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan, the Peace Foundation of Turkmenistan, the Central Council of the Magtymguly Youth Organization, and the editorial office of Güneş magazine.
For the contest, schoolchildren submitted essays on the topic "May Peace Be Eternal!", as well as drawings and models. The works were required to reflect state achievements, Turkmenistan’s peace-loving initiatives, the transformations being implemented and the successes of the Era of Revival of the New Epoch of the Powerful State, the happy lifestyle of the youth, and the significance of the country's permanent neutrality.
The competition was held in four stages: the school round took place from October 3 to 14, followed by events in etraps and cities from October 18 to 21. The third stage was organized from November 3 to 11 in the velayats, as well as in the capital and the city of Arkadag. The final state stage took place during the first ten days of December in Ashgabat.
In the final stage of the competition, winners were determined in three categories: essays, drawings, and models. For each category, the jury selected the three best works, awarding them first, second, and third places. The winners received diplomas and gifts from the organizers. The best works will be published in the pages of Güneş magazine.
