Turkmenistan Students Achieve Victories at International Mathematics Olympiad in Moscow

Students from higher education institutions in Turkmenistan achieved brilliant victories at the International Mathematics Olympiad (RUDN MATH OLYMP-2025), which was held from November 25 to 30, 2025, in Moscow at the Patrice Lumumba Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia.

Turkmen students competed against representatives from higher education institutions in Austria, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Poland, Italy, Germany, and other European countries.

Students from the Faculty of Digital Technologies and Cybersecurity at the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International Oil and Gas University performed most successfully in the competition:

• Kerimguly Bendov took first place in the individual standings, winning a gold medal;
• Islam Hayitmuhammedov took third place, receiving a bronze medal.

These successes serve as a wonderful gift from the students for the upcoming 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's permanent neutrality.
