Under the wise leadership of the esteemed President, in the Year of “International Peace and Trust”, our country — celebrating the 30th anniversary of its Permanent Neutrality — continues to reach new heights of development. The reforms and achievements in the national library system, carried out in the Era of Revival of a New Epoch of a Powerful State, form a solid foundation for the bright future of the young generation.
In the educational process, school libraries play a major role in fostering students’ love for their peaceful, trustworthy, and internationally respected Motherland, strengthening the principles of friendship, peace, and mutual trust promoted by Turkmenistan in the world.
At Mary City Secondary School No. 23, specialized in foreign languages, exemplary work is being carried out to organize high-quality library activities. The school librarian, Akjemal Hommyýewa, devotedly works to instill in the younger generation a love for books and pride in their homeland. This is demonstrated by regular celebrations, reading competitions, and thematic book exhibitions.
On December 3, 2025, the school hosted a festive event titled “Independence is the Wing of the Turkmen; Neutrality is the Pride of My Homeland”, organized by Akjemal Hommyýewa to mark the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s Neutrality. Teachers, students, and librarians from all districts of Mary Province took part in the event. The compositions, songs, performances, and poems presented by teachers and students left a strong impression on participants. A book exhibition titled “My Pride — Neutrality” became a special highlight of the celebration. It featured books by the National Leader of the Turkmen People, Hero Arkadag, and the esteemed President, Hero Arkadagly Serdar, along with newly published literary and political works. The event once again demonstrated the immense role of books and the importance of libraries in cultivating a culture of reading.
We sincerely express our gratitude to Hero Arkadagly Serdar and Hero Arkadag for all the opportunities they create for educating and nurturing the younger generation.
