The Yagshygeldi Kakaev International Oil and Gas University hosted a scientific and practical conference dedicated to the landmark occasion of the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s permanent neutrality. The event was held under the guiding theme: “Turkmenistan’s Neutrality as a Guarantee of Peace, Security, and Sustainable Development in the Region and Globally”.
In his opening address at the plenary session, Professor N.Suvhanov underscored that, within the framework of the Revival of the New Epoch of the Powerful State and under the leadership of President Arkadagly Hero Serdar, comprehensive and systematic efforts have been undertaken to advance the national system of science and education. He noted that the establishment of modern institutional infrastructure has created the necessary conditions for the professional training of highly qualified engineers and specialists in the oil and gas sector.
Senior Lecturer G.Saparova delivered a report focusing on the enhancement of the humanitarian component in specialist training, emphasizing the significance of holistic personal and intellectual development for the formation of a new generation of competent professionals. In their presentations, Senior Lecturers D.Sapargulyeva and M.Kullayeva highlighted Turkmenistan’s notable progress in scientific research and stressed that the country’s emerging scientific community plays an increasingly important role in reinforcing the nation's intellectual and technological potential.
Following the plenary session, the conference proceeded within eight specialized thematic sections. Participants observed that, owing to the sustained attention and strategic initiatives of President Arkadagly Hero Serdar, the material and technical capacities of national educational institutions continue to strengthen. Students now have access to modern, technologically equipped learning environments featuring advanced multimedia and computer systems, and the integration of digital learning tools into academic processes is being implemented on a continuous and methodical basis.
The conference was characterized by a dynamic academic atmosphere, marked by constructive scholarly debate, interactive question-and-answer sessions, and substantive exchanges of scientific viewpoints between presenters and attendees.
