Vice President for Medical Affairs of the Charity Fund of Turkmenistan Held Important Meetings with Representatives of Several Countries

On November 10, Turkmenistan hosted a meeting between Oguljahan Atabaeva, Vice President for Medical Affairs of the Charity Fund for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship named after Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, and Saida Mirziyoyeva, Head of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The guest noted that issues of global significance were discussed during the International Forum held on Turkmen soil. The organizational level of the forum demonstrates that Turkmenistan has accumulated positive experience in this important area, said Saida Mirziyoyeva, emphasizing that this fact strengthens Turkmenistan’s role on the international stage.

Oguljahan Atabaeva also met with Tatiana Valovaya, Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations and Director-General of the UN Office at Geneva. The parties noted that in the modern era, women leaders in Turkmen society play an important role in various fields, including politics, business, and public initiatives. By promoting gender equality, they actively participate in addressing key issues facing society.

In addition, the Vice President for Medical Affairs of the Charity Fund met with the Chairwoman of the National Assembly of the Democratic Republic of São Tomé and Príncipe, Celmira do Sacramento.

It was emphasized that holding the International Forum on the Role of Women in Modern Society in Turkmenistan reflects the responsible approach of our country to the implementation of women's rights and ensuring their active participation in state and public life, as well as the great attention devoted by the state to this area. In this regard, it was noted that the forum held in Avaza became an effective platform for discussing issues related to the promotion of women's rights.

Oguljahan Atabaeva also held meetings with Dilrabo Mansuri, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan; Lindiwe Dlamini, Minister of Internal Affairs of the Kingdom of Eswatini; Natalia Manturova, Head of the Department of the Pirogov National Research Medical University of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation and President of the Society of Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgeons; Maryam bint Ali bin Nasser Al-Misned, Minister of State for International Cooperation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar; Huang Xiaowei, Deputy Director of the Working Committee of the State Council for Women and Children; and Fatemeh Mohajerani, Press Secretary of the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
