On November 10, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, met with Neda Berger, head of the Turkmen-Austrian Friendship Group, who was on a visit to our country.
Expressing gratitude for the opportunity to meet, the guest sincerely congratulated Hero-Arkadag on the significant occasion—the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s permanent neutrality—and noted the importance and relevance of the peacekeeping initiatives that our country puts forward on the international stage.
Highlighting the significant contribution of Neda Berger, who has headed this group for many years, to the development of friendly interstate relations, the National Leader of the Turkmen people emphasized the importance of jointly organized cultural events, particularly the concerts of the Turkmen-Austrian symphony orchestra “Galkynysh,” the Vienna Balls, and others.
Expressing sincere gratitude to Hero-Arkadag for the high appreciation of her work, Berger noted the significance of the far-sighted initiatives of the National Leader of the Turkmen people aimed at strengthening peace and sustainable development. She stressed that the strong support provided by Hero-Arkadag and President Serdar Berdimuhamedov serves as the foundation for the steady development of cultural and humanitarian ties between the two countries.
