Meeting of the Turkmen–Austrian Friendship Group Held in Ashgabat

On December 16, a meeting of the Turkmen–Austrian Friendship Group was held at the “Ýyldyz” Hotel, during which the results of the work carried out over the current year were summed up.

During the meeting, a number of key issues aimed at further strengthening bilateral cooperation and expanding the activities of the Friendship Group were reviewed and discussed.

The main discussions focused on the development of mutually beneficial economic partnership and the further strengthening of bilateral relations, including through cultural diplomacy.

The meeting also considered other promising projects for 2026 and reviewed wishes and proposals aimed at intensifying the activities of the Friendship Group and engaging leading Turkmen companies in joint efforts.

On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s neutrality and the 17th anniversary of the Turkmen–Austrian Friendship Group, the contributions of several members of the Friendship Group were recognized for their significant input into the development of economic and business projects between the two countries, as well as for many years of productive work.
