Memoranda of Understanding Signed Between Oguz Han Engineering and Technology University of Turkmenistan and Japan’s Tohoku and Hirosaki Universities

In the Revival of the New Epoch of the Powerful State, and within the framework of the International Year of Peace and Trust, fraternal relations continue to flourish under the visionary leadership of our National Leader, Hero Arkadag, and our President, Arkadagly Hero Serdar.

 As part of the recent productive working visit by our Honorable President to Japan, several documents of strategic national importance were signed. These agreements stand as a testament to the successful promotion of Turkmenistan's foreign policy and its growing prestige on the world stage. The newly signed Memoranda of Understanding (MoU) focus on several significant areas of development. A formal MoU with the Tohoku University School of Engineering to promote joint research and technical innovation, A specific agreement with Tohoku University dedicated to student exchange programs, allowing Turkmen students to gain invaluable international experience, A partnership with the Hirosaki University’s Graduate School of Science and Technology to foster collaboration in high-tech fields.

These agreements mark a significant milestone in strengthening the educational and scientific ties between Turkmenistan and Japan. With these latest signings, the Oguz Han Engineering and Technology University now holds a total of 10 active cooperation agreements with Japanese universities and private corporations. These partnerships are designed to foster cooperation in science and education, develop joint academic programs and research initiatives, facilitate the exchange of expertise in higher education, prepare a new generation of highly qualified specialists capable of driving Turkmenistan’s technological future.

This diplomatic and educational achievement reflects the forward-thinking foreign policy of Hero Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Serdar. By fostering "friendly and fraternal relations" with world-class institutions, Turkmenistan continues to build a bridge between the nation’s youth and the global scientific community.
