Book Handover Ceremony at the International University for the Humanities and Development

A book handover ceremony was held at the International University for the Humanities and Development, attended by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to Turkmenistan.

During the ceremony, the Embassy presented 190 books and textbooks to the International University for the Humanities and Development. Also a short video about the People’s Republic of China was also shown. University students recited poems in Chinese. The students then asked the Ambassador questions about student exchange programs between higher education institutions in the People’s Republic of China and Turkmenistan, as well as opportunities for master’s and doctoral studies.

The ceremony participants provided detailed information on the historical relations between Turkmenistan and the People’s Republic of China, current cooperation, economic and trade spheres, and scientific and educational activities.

At the end of the ceremony, the parties agreed to take appropriate measures through diplomatic channels to establish mutually beneficial bilateral cooperation.
