In Turkmenistan, the first lesson of the second semester was dedicated to the motto of the year

The second semester of the 2025-2026 academic year started in the educational institutions of Turkmenistan on January 13. In accordance with the order of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan, the first lesson in all schools and higher education institutions was held under the motto " Independent neutral Turkmenistan − the homeland of purposeful winged horses". This lesson was aimed at educating the youth about the achievements of our country and national values.

Preparatory work for the new academic season began as early as January 8. On that day, methodological and practical meetings were organized in the cities and districts (etraps) of the country with the participation of teachers. During the meetings, an analysis of the work carried out in the first half of the academic year was conducted, and modern methods of teaching and upbringing for the new period were discussed. Special manuals were prepared for teachers by the National Institute of Education.

During the first lesson, teachers held engaging discussions with students and youth. The primary focus was on the great successes achieved in the economy, science, and education during the 35 years of Independence of permanently Neutral Turkmenistan. The youth were presented with information based on concrete facts regarding the international authority of our country and future programs.

At the conclusion of the lessons, students expressively recited the poem "Bedev" ("The Steed") by the National Leader of the Turkmen people, dedicated to the celestial horses. Valuable excerpts from the President of Turkmenistan’s book on peace and mutual trust were also read, and the lessons concluded in an atmosphere of high spiritual uplift.
