Turkmenistan achieved significant successes in the scientific and eEducational sphere in 2025

The year 2025 was marked by a number of landmark events and achievements, reflecting the consistent implementation of education and science reforms under the leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov. These reforms are aimed at preparing highly qualified young scientific personnel who will be tasked with addressing grand challenges in the era of the Renaissance of a new age of a powerful state.

As part of the adopted national programs, new modern buildings for secondary and higher educational institutions, kindergartens, and wellness centers have been commissioned across the country and continue to be constructed.

Currently, Turkmenistan operates a number of schools with an in-depth focus on exact, natural, and humanitarian sciences, as well as foreign languages. New teaching methods are applied to ensure a thorough study of the rich history and cultural heritage of the Turkmen people. Additional interest-based clubs are being established, and scientific literature is being prepared taking into account the age characteristics of children.

The country’s higher education institutions are actively developing digital learning formats, with comprehensive information about universities available on their websites, including structure, educational programs and platforms, faculties and specialties, information for applicants, and more.

Issues of deepening constructive partnerships in education, expanding inter-university contacts, and promoting student and faculty exchanges are regularly included in the agendas of President of Turkmenistan and Hero-Arkadag’s foreign visits, as well as negotiations at the highest, governmental, and inter-agency levels. The agreements reached are formalized in signed documents.
