On January 16, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Bayramgul Orazdurdyyeva reported at a government meeting that, together with relevant ministries and agencies, work is being carried out to improve the functioning of the scientific sector, train a new generation of young scientists in digital economy management, as well as engineers, technologists, doctors, and other specialists skilled in innovative technologies.
As a result, a draft document was prepared defining the quotas for admission to postgraduate studies, academic degree programs, and clinical residency in research institutions and higher education institutions in 2026.
After reviewing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized that great importance is attached in Turkmenistan to the consistent development of the scientific sector and the training of highly qualified specialists. In this context, the Head of State signed the document on admission to postgraduate studies, academic degree programs, and clinical residency, instructing the Deputy Prime Minister to carry out the corresponding work.
