At a Cabinet of Ministers meeting, Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov presented a strategy for modernizing Turkmenistan's Protocol Service. This strategy involves systematically upgrading the skills of specialists who shape the country's first impressions at the highest level.

Aerobatic School: Personnel for Diplomacy

According to the Deputy Prime Minister's proposal, the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan is becoming a hub for training internationally recognized specialists.

Specialized courses at the Diplomatic Protocol Center: Young employees will undergo intensive training at the institute's training center, meeting modern international standards.

Integration of global experience: The program includes both sending Turkmen specialists for internships at leading international centers and inviting foreign experts to Ashgabat to conduct master classes.

Protocol as a Tool for National Image

In 2026—a year of large-scale summits and visits—impeccable protocol will be key to effective negotiations. As President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted, the country's foreign policy is focused on the common good, meaning each visit must be organized as a carefully crafted mechanism where respect for the partner is combined with a demonstration of national dignity.
