In Turkmenistan, a special media group has been created to cover sports and cultural events in 2026. This information was announced at a conference held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, which focused on media coverage of cultural and sports events in 2026.

The newly formed media group includes 12 experienced instructors and 76 talented students from specialized faculties of five leading universities in the country. During the conference, the goals, tasks, and key aspects of the organizational activities of the newly established team of correspondents were also explained.

Participants discussed the organization of special training sessions aimed at enhancing the core competencies of young journalists, enriching their experience, and ensuring professional and timely coverage of important events scheduled at the national and international levels in 2026.
