A series of patriotic and literary events entitled “The Motherland is the Crown of Our Life” was held in the libraries of Ashgabat secondary schools within the framework of the 2026 national motto, “Independent, Permanently Neutral Turkmenistan – the Land of Swift Winged Horses.” The activities were organized in accordance with the State Program for the Development of the Library System for 2025–2029 and aimed at fostering students’ love for reading, patriotism, and respect for national spiritual values.
The events included meetings with military officers, literary evenings, poetic recitations, musical performances, and stage compositions dedicated to the defenders of the Motherland and the heroic pages of Turkmen history. Students presented works by classical and contemporary authors, emphasizing courage, loyalty, and devotion to the homeland.
These initiatives contributed to strengthening young people’s civic awareness, nurturing a sense of pride in their country, and promoting books as a key source of moral, cultural, and intellectual development.
