Universities of Turkmenistan to Hold International Scientific Conferences

In order to implement the tasks outlined in the “Strategy for International Cooperation of Turkmenistan’s Youth for 2023–2030” and the adopted education sector concepts, international scientific and practical conferences are planned to be held in Turkmenistan’s higher educational institutions in November-December of this year. According to TDH, this was announced at the Government meeting on October 18 in the report by Deputy Prime Minister B. Orazdurdyeva.

From November 25 to 30, the Turkmen State University named after Magtymguly will host an international scientific and practical conference on the topic “Modern Improvement of Chemistry Teaching Methodology and the Current Development of Chemical Technologies.”

On December 5–6, the Turkmen National Institute of World Languages named after Dovletmammed Azadi will hold an international scientific and practical conference on the topic “Innovative Methods and Technologies for Teaching Foreign Languages.”

On December 19, the Turkmen Agricultural Institute will host an international scientific and practical conference in digital format on the topic “The Role of Biotechnology in the Sustainable Development of the Agricultural Sector.”

The participation of not only students, professors, and researchers from Turkmenistan’s higher educational institutions is expected but also talented young people and scholars from leading universities of the Russian Federation, the United States of America, the People's Republic of China, the Republic of Korea, the United Arab Emirates, Austria, the Federal Republic of Germany, Romania, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Malaysia, Uzbekistan, and other countries.

These scientific and practical conferences will play an important role in strengthening international cooperation in the fields of science and education and in preparing highly qualified specialists for the rapidly developing sectors of the national economy.

After hearing the report, the esteemed President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, emphasized that the country is consistently implementing program activities aimed at modernizing the education system and preparing highly qualified specialists. He also highlighted the regular organization of scientific and practical conferences that promote the development of international cooperation and instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to ensure proper preparation for the scheduled events at the Turkmen State University named after Magtymguly, the Turkmen National Institute of World Languages named after Dovletmammed Azadi, and the Turkmen Agricultural Institute.
