Achievements of University Students at International Olympiads Held in the Republic of Uzbekistan

Under the wise leadership of our Hero Arkadag and the Arkadagly Hero President, the state policy for the development and improvement of the science and education system in our country is being successfully implemented. Wide opportunities are being created for students to receive modern, high-quality education, master professions, engage in scientific research, and exchange experiences with students from foreign countries. The youth actively participate in international Olympiads and scientific-practical conferences held both in our country and abroad, achieving prize-winning results.

A vivid confirmation of this is the success achieved at the Bukhara International Olympiad in Mathematics and Chemistry among university students, held from January 24 to 29, 2026, in the city of Bukhara, Republic of Uzbekistan.

At the international Olympiads in mathematics and chemistry, five students from the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International Oil and Gas University demonstrated outstanding results and were awarded prize-winning places. In the international mathematics competition, first-year student of the Faculty of Digital Technologies and Cybersecurity, Bendov Kerimguly Maksatgulyevich, was awarded a gold medal and a first-degree diploma, while fourth-year student of the same faculty, Hayytmuhammedov Islam Myradowich, received a silver medal and a second-degree diploma. In the international chemistry competition, fourth-year student of the Faculty of Chemical Technology and Ecology, Bakhtiyarov Azim Bakhtiyarovich, was awarded a silver medal and a second-degree diploma, while Batyrov Abdyrahim Serdarovich and fourth-year student of the Faculty of Energy and Engineering Structures, Talibzhonov Jemshit Talibzhonovich, received bronze medals and third-degree diplomas.

The 1 gold, 2 silver, and 2 bronze medals, as well as the corresponding diplomas, won by students of the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International Oil and Gas University at prestigious international Olympiads, are a clear result of the consistent care of the Honorable President for the younger generation. These achievements became among the first successes of the Year of “Independent Neutral Turkmenistan − the Homeland of Purposeful Winged Horses” and further strengthened the international prestige of our country’s education system.

These successes, achieved at the international level, serve as clear evidence that the education system of our country is reaching new heights. We express our sincere gratitude to Hero Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Serdar for creating all the conditions for young people to receive modern education and to represent the prestige of our country with dignity at world-level competitions.
