MY HOMELAND — THE LAND OF SWIFT STEEDS

A cultural and educational event dedicated to the Year of “Independent Neutral Turkmenistan – the Homeland of Purposeful Winged Horses.” was held at the library of Secondary School No. 12 in the city of Mary. Students from Secondary Schools No. 4, 12, 30, and 32 took part in the event.

As part of the programme, a book exhibition entitled “My Homeland – Land of the Swift Steed” was organised, along with recitations of patriotic poems by students. Special attention was given to the works of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Hero Arkadag, devoted to Akhal-Teke horses, as well as new publications by the President of Turkmenistan, Arkadagly Hero Serdar, and children’s literature.

School librarians provided detailed information to students and teachers about the motto of the year and the content of the displayed books, highlighting their educational and moral value and their role in fostering a love for reading.

The event contributed to the promotion of spiritual and moral values, the development of reading culture, and the patriotic upbringing of the younger generation.
