An information and communication session dedicated to the European Union's research and innovation program "Horizon Europe" (HE) was held at the International University for the Humanities and Development (IUHD). The event was organized to familiarize the country's scientific and educational community with the mechanisms of international grant funding.
The honored guest of the meeting was Ksenia Savchenko, representative of the Global Service Facility of the European Commission (GSF). During the session, participants were presented with a detailed overview of the program's structure, its thematic areas, and the specifics of working with innovators from Central Asian countries. Special attention was paid to the "Horizon Europe" work plans for 2026–2027.
The main goal of the event was to expand the participation of Turkmen scientists in global research projects. Participants discussed Turkmenistan's foreign policy priorities in the field of innovation and received practical recommendations on access to funding.
