Future oil engineers win intellectual competition in Balkanabat

Students from the Balkanabat branch of the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International Oil and Gas University, the Balkanabat Oil Secondary Vocational School of the State concern "Türkmennebit" and the regional specialized arts school took part in the intellectual competition "Brain-ring," held at the Balkanabat branch of the "Kämil bilim" learning center in three stages.
The event was organized by the Main Education Department of the Balkan velayat, the Balkan velayat Council of the Youth Organization of Turkmenistan named after Magtymguly, and the "Kämil bilim" learning center branch in Balkanabat.
The qualifying round, held throughout February, was conducted in a test format. In subsequent stages, teams competed for a place in the final. A total of 25 teams participated, including students from the aforementioned institutions and pupils from grades 10–12 of the city's secondary schools.
The finalists were students from the Balkanabat Branch of the Balkanabat branch of the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International Oil and Gas University and pupils from Secondary School No. 24 of Balkanabat.
The university team took first place. Second place went to Secondary School No. 24, while third place was shared between teams from Secondary Schools No. 12 and No. 6 of Balkanabat. Winners were presented with certificates of honor and commemorative gifts from the organizers and sponsors.
