On February 24, Ovezgeldi Jumanazarov, Consul General of Turkmenistan in Istanbul, met with Bahadır Kürşat Güntürk, Rector of Medipol University of the Republic of Türkiýe.
During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for developing bilateral cooperation in higher education, science, and medicine, focusing on expanding academic ties and exchanging professional experience.
A detailed exchange of views took place on improving the higher education system, strengthening international partnerships, and creating favorable conditions for Turkmen students to study in the Republic of Türkiýe. The Rector noted that the university is actively developing international cooperation and consistently expanding opportunities for international students.
During the meeting, issues related to expanding scholarship programs, implementing academic mobility projects for faculty and students, and intensifying joint research activities were discussed. The importance of developing and concluding relevant agreements aimed at systematically and long-term development of cooperation was emphasized.
