Talyp Gozeli – 2026 Beauty Contest Held

On the eve of International Women's Day, the "Talyp Gozeli-2026" creative contest was held with great joy and enthusiasm at the Oguz Han Engineering and Technology University of Turkmenistan. Organized jointly by the Central Council of the Magtymguly Youth Organization of Turkmenistan, the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan, and the Central Council of the Women's Union of Turkmenistan, the event aimed to reveal the talents, resourcefulness, embroidery skills inherited from our ancestors, and the readiness for family life of our female students.

The contest consisted of three distinct stages:

First Stage: The participants demonstrated their artistry and creativity through singing, poetry, and theatrical performances. These performances celebrated the year 2026—"Turkmenistan: The Land of Prosperity and Neutrality"—and highlighted the high respect shown to women in our country.

Second Stage: Drawing inspiration from the book "The Abundant Turkmen Table" (Bereketli türkmen saçagy) by our Hero Arkadag, the contestants showcased their culinary skills by preparing unaş (traditional Turkmen noodle soup).

Third Stage: Guided by the proverb "My craft is my honor" (Hünärim bar — hormatym bar), the students demonstrated their talent and dexterity through the art of traditional embroidery (keşde).

A total of five students participated, representing one student from each faculty of the university. According to the results:

The Grand Prize was awarded to Aylar Hojanepesowa, a 4th-year student majoring in Innovative Economics at the Faculty of Economics of Innovation. By winning this round, she earned the right to participate in the final national stage of the competition. All winners and outstanding performers were presented with commemorative gifts.

Under the leadership of our Hero Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Serdar, our sacred Motherland continues to reach new heights. The Turkmen woman, dressed in national attire and walking with grace, is a symbol of beauty. The exquisite Turkmen embroidery and national jewelry worn by well-mannered, gentle women resemble a masterpiece of art.

Like weeping willows, they sway with grace,
