Scientific and practical conference held at the Academy of Civil Service

A scientific and practical conference entitled “The Importance of Training Qualified Civil Servants in the Era of the Revival of a New Epoch of a Powerful State and Their Role in Administrative Activity” was held at the Academy of Civil Service under the President of Turkmenistan. The event was attended by the academy’s faculty members, trainees, master’s students, as well as representatives of a number of ministries, sectoral agencies, and higher educational institutions.
The conference included a plenary session and two sectional meetings, during which participants discussed the significance of training civil servants, their work in state institutions and enterprises of the country, and the further improvement of such events in accordance with modern requirements.
As a state institution providing advanced education to compatriots holding higher professional qualifications, the Academy of Civil Service contributes to the development of the scientific and methodological framework in various spheres of the country. Five-month advanced training courses for civil servants, as well as two-year professional retraining programs, are conducted here. Speakers at the conference emphasized that the academy’s graduates make a достойный contribution to the country’s development through their conscientious and effective work.
Presentations delivered in the sections “Historical Roots of National Public Administration” and “Issues of Training Civil Servants in the Context of Digital Economy Development” also addressed the Resolution of the President of Turkmenistan dated January 24, 2020, “On Issues of the Academy of Civil Service under the President of Turkmenistan.” The importance of the approval by this document of the Regulations on the Academy of Civil Service under the President of Turkmenistan, its structure, and the admission procedures was highlighted, and it was particularly noted that these areas receive significant support from the Head of State.
