Turkmen diplomat discussed opportunities for cooperation in the education sector with the vice-rector of a Romanian university

On March 3rd, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to Romania, Annamammet Annayev, met with Teodor Ioan Treske, the Vice-Rector of the University of Agronomic Sciences and Veterinary Medicine of Bucharest.

During the conversation, the interlocutors noted the positive and friendly nature of Turkmen-Romanian cooperation in the fields of education and science. The importance of the previously established interaction between the S.A. Niyazov Turkmen Agricultural University and the University of Agronomic Sciences and Veterinary Medicine of Bucharest within the framework of the cooperation agreement was also emphasized.

The parties exchanged views on expanding practical cooperation, including the organization of joint academic and professional events.

During the meeting, it was noted that 2026 has been declared in our country as the year of "Independent neutral Turkmenistan − the homeland of purposeful winged horses," and accordingly, the possibilities of holding thematic events, including those with the participation of the S.A. Niyazov Turkmen Agricultural University, were discussed.
