From February 22 to 28, 2026, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) held a special introductory training seminar in Vienna, the capital of Austria. The event, organized at the Vienna International Centre, was designed for new project partners, national liaison officers, and assistants of the Technical Cooperation Programme.
The Turkmen Agricultural University named after S.A. Niyazov was represented at the international seminar. Kadyr Amanov, Head of the university’s Technology Transfer Center, participated in the event, gaining expertise in IAEA project management, financing, and reporting systems.
During the seminar, participants received detailed information on the structure and operating principles of the IAEA Technical Cooperation Programme. Particular attention was paid to the specifics of using "InTouch+" and other digital information systems essential for the implementation of international projects.
Additionally, an exchange of experience with representatives from various countries took place within the framework of the seminar. The meetings focused on discussing new opportunities for developing international cooperation and ways to improve project monitoring systems.
The results of this international event are of great importance for the Turkmen Agricultural University. The seminar provided a new impetus for activating the university's participation in international projects, applying global expertise in project management, and strengthening international relations.
