Turkmen Ambassador meets with Rector of a Kazakh University

On March 4, 2026, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Kazakhstan, B. Rejepov, met with the Chairman of the Board and Rector of the JSC “Saken Seifullin Kazakh Agrotechnical Research University” Kanat Tireuov. During the meeting, the parties discussed bilateral cooperation in the fields of education and science, as well as issues related to academic exchange and the implementation of joint research projects.

The Ambassador delivered a lecture to Turkmen students studying at the university, as well as to the faculty and academic staff.

In his lecture, he addressed a wide range of current issues, including the main directions of Turkmenistan’s foreign policy, measures being implemented in the framework of youth policy, discussion of the prospective tasks set by the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, and the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, for the younger generation, as well as Turkmenistan’s plans to widely celebrate the 35th anniversary of its Independence in 2026.

The Ambassador also presented the new book by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, “Turkmenistan’s Neutrality – A Bright Path to Peace and Trust.”

At the conclusion of the visit, the Turkmen diplomat inquired about the students’ achievements in academics and sports, and the students, in turn, had the opportunity to ask questions of interest to them.
