Preserving the noble traditions of the Turkmen people, strengthening family values, and honoring motherhood are among the key responsibilities of the national education system. On the occasion of International Women’s Day, the Department of Education of Gyzylarbat district in the Balkan velayat organized a competition among female teachers of secondary schools and educators of preschool institutions based on the book “A Bow to the Mother is a Bow to Sacredness” by the National Leader of the Turkmen people and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Hero Arkadag.
The main aim of the competition was to promote the ideas of this valuable work in educational institutions, encourage reading, and deepen understanding of its content. Participants demonstrated their knowledge of the book, answered questions about the life path, craftsmanship, and family traditions of Ogulabat ene, and presented creative approaches for integrating the book’s ideas into educational and upbringing activities.
According to the results of the competition, first place was awarded to Ayserе Niyazmyradova, a teacher of Turkmen language and literature at Secondary School No. 6. Second place went to Tovy Shallyyeva, a teacher of Turkmen language and literature at Secondary School No. 17, while third place was awarded to Ogulnar Niyazmyradova, an English language teacher at Secondary School No. 4. The winners received honorary certificates from the district education department. The event once again highlighted the importance of the National Leader’s spiritual heritage and the sacred role of motherhood in educating younger generations.
