DEAR MOTHERS — THE SUN OF THE WORLD

In the Era of the Revival of the New Epoch of a Powerful State, special attention is given to honoring and supporting women thanks to the initiatives of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Hero Arkadag, and the esteemed President Arkadagly Hero Serdar. In peaceful and independent Turkmenistan, International Women’s Day — March 8 — is widely and solemnly celebrated at the state level. In Turkmen culture, the concept that “Mother is sacred” has long held a special place in society.

At Secondary School No. 47 named after Yunus Emre in Ashgabat, a festive event entitled “Mothers — the Sunshine of Our World” was held in honor of International Women’s Day. The celebration brought together students and teachers and became a heartfelt expression of gratitude and respect for women.

On the eve of the holiday, the school library’s active group organized a creative activity. Talented students prepared handmade flowers and decorative gifts to congratulate their mothers and beloved teachers. During the event, students also recited poems by famous poets dedicated to spring and mothers, filling the celebration with warmth, sincerity, and appreciation.
