A meeting between the university's leadership and Serdar Durdyev, Counselor of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Russian Federation, was held at Moscow State Linguistic University (MSLU). The key topic was expanding the Turkmen humanitarian agenda in the curriculum of the leading linguistic center.
MSLU, which currently teaches 40 foreign languages, plans to include Turkmen in its core educational programs. This means that in the future, Russian and international students will be able to study it professionally as a primary or second foreign language.
The parties discussed the prospects of opening a Center for Turkmen Language and Culture at MSLU. It will serve not only as a venue for teaching but also for cultural forums and creative meetings.
