On March 11, the final stage of the cheerful contest titled "Iň eýjejik gyzjagaz — 2026" was held at the Center of Public Organizations of Turkmenistan. Talented girls who won 1st and 2nd places in the preliminary rounds held in the provinces and the cities of Ashgabat and Arkadag participated in the state level of the contest, which was announced by the Central Council of the Magtymguly Youth Organization of Turkmenistan and the Ministry of Education on the occasion of the National Spring Holiday — International Nowruz Day.
In the final round, 15 charming girls competed in three categories. They demonstrated their skills in performing musical numbers and presenting national costumes accompanied by poetic descriptions.
The jury evaluated each performance and the handiwork of the girls. As a result, Leyli Movlamova, a 4th-grade student at the "Döwletliler köşgi" Palace in the capital, won the Grand Prix. Zohre Saparova, a 3rd-grade student at specialized secondary school No. 7 in Dashoguz, took 1st place. Second place was shared by Ayperi Annaberdiyeva, a 4th-grade student at specialized school No. 3 in Arkadag city, and Ogulshirin Annalyyeva, a 4th-grade student at school No. 20 in Babadayhan district. Third place was awarded to Meryem Dyrdyyeva (4th grade, school No. 29, Gyzylarbat district), Enesh Danatarova (3rd grade, school No. 12, Oguzhan district), and Ogultagan Nurysheva (4th grade, school No. 33, Ashgabat).
According to the jury's decision, other young talents who stood out with their skills were awarded titles such as "Girl with a Velvet Voice," "Nationally Adorned Girl," "Artistic Narrator Girl," "Patriotic Girl," "Cheerful Girl," "Eloquent Girl," "Sweet-Voiced Girl," and "Skilled Craftswoman."
The girls who won prizes, titles, and actively participated were solemnly presented with Certificates of Honor and commemorative gifts by the Central Council of the Magtymguly Youth Organization of Turkmenistan and the Ministry of Education.
This annual traditional contest features talented girls studying in grades 2–4 of the country's general secondary schools.
