In the first days of spring, an Open Day event dedicated to the 155th anniversary of the birth of poet Bayram and the 35th anniversary of the Sacred Independence of Turkmenistan was held at Secondary School No. 8 named after the poet in the Jebel settlement of Balkanabat. The event brought together students, teachers, and guests and became a significant cultural and educational occasion.
According to the school’s programme, open lessons in various subjects, exemplary class sessions, and book exhibitions were organised. The school library presented a thematic exhibition entitled “The Dream of Our Ancestors — Glorious Independence,” while students prepared creative presentations and literary-musical compositions.
The celebration was enriched by artistic performances of the students. Poems by Bayram, reflecting themes of morality, patriotism, and the beauty of Turkmen nature, were recited. Songs based on the poet’s works, including “Shaglap Iner Burgutleri” and “Nabilsin,” left a memorable impression on the audience.
