A Turkmen delegation, including the Vice-Rector of the International University for the Humanities and Development, representatives of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan, and the Ministry of Communications of Turkmenistan, participated in a strategic session on the topic: “Qualified IT Personnel: A Key Factor in a Competitive Economy and Advanced Development.” The event was held on the School 21 campus in Kazan under the auspices of Sberbank. School 21 is a programming and digital technology school supported by Sberbank. The educational model is based on peer-to-peer methodology and a practice-oriented approach, where participants master programming skills through collaboration and real-world projects. The project aims to train in-demand IT specialists and develop the human resources potential of the digital economy.
The delegation's visit began with a tour of the School 21 campus. During her presentation, Yulia Vershinina, head of the “School 21” educational project in Kazan, shared her experience implementing an innovative model for training highly qualified personnel for the information technology sector. The presentation explored the key approaches underlying the project's educational concept and its role in developing a modern workforce for the digital economy.
Next, a presentation by the Turkmen delegation examined best practices in Turkmenistan’s higher education system. It was noted that Turkmenistan’s higher education system has demonstrated significant progress in digitalization, integrating modern information and communication technologies into the educational process. Best practices include the widespread use of electronic educational platforms, which provide access to digital educational resources and facilitate the development of distance learning.
The Turkmen delegation was then introduced to the activities of the Bashir Rameyev Technopark, one of the leading innovation centers in the region. The guests were given the opportunity to learn about cutting-edge projects and technologies being implemented by the technology park's residents and to assess the potential for scientific and technical cooperation.
The parties emphasized the importance of the technology park as a platform for knowledge sharing, stimulating innovation, and strengthening international cooperation in science and technology.
The Turkmen delegation’s visit to Kazan marked an important step in strengthening international cooperation in IT and digital technologies.
