The President Reviewed the Progress in the Agricultural Sector

Yesterday, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting with Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers T. Atahallyyev and the governors of the velayats. The agenda focused on the implementation of the National Agricultural Program and the progress of seasonal agricultural campaigns across the country.

The first report was presented by the Governor of Ahal Velayat, S. Soltanmyradov, who provided an update on the situation in the region's fields.

As noted, measures are being taken to harvest cotton to the last boll and to ensure the efficient use of agricultural machinery, uninterrupted transportation of raw materials to collection points, and cotton-processing enterprises. Efforts are also being made to promptly settle payments with cotton growers for the harvest delivered to the state.

Additionally, attention is being given to wheat cultivation, including vegetative irrigation and the application of organic and mineral fertilizers.

The governor also reported on preparations for the International Day of Neutrality celebrations and the construction of social, cultural, and industrial facilities scheduled for completion this month.

After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of harvesting the cotton crop grown through the hard work of farmers down to the last boll and maintaining proper care of wheat fields in accordance with agronomic standards. He issued specific instructions to the governor.

The President also instructed that the timelines and quality of construction projects planned for opening in December under the National Agricultural Program be closely monitored.

Next, the Governor of Balkan Velayat, H. Ashyrmyradov, reported on the pace of seasonal agricultural work in his region.

As noted, necessary measures are being implemented to harvest cotton without losses and to settle payments with farmers for the harvest delivered to the state.

In line with the objectives of ensuring food abundance in the country, vegetative irrigation and mineral fertilization are continuing in the region’s wheat fields.

Simultaneously, work is underway to enrich the soil with mineral fertilizers and plow fields in preparation for the next cotton planting season.

The governor also reported on preparations for cultural events to mark the International Day of Neutrality and the progress of construction projects scheduled for completion in December.

After reviewing the report, President Berdimuhamedov highlighted the importance of conducting seasonal agricultural activities with high quality and in compliance with agronomic standards, providing the governor with specific directives.

The President also instructed the governor to ensure the proper organization of upcoming opening ceremonies for various facilities planned for this month.

The meeting continued with a report from the Governor of Dashoguz Velayat, D. Babayev, on the progress of seasonal agricultural work in the region.

According to the report, efforts are underway to harvest cotton to the last boll and ensure even wheat germination.

In addition, plowing and soil enrichment with mineral fertilizers continue in fields designated for next year’s cotton planting. Steps are being taken to promptly settle payments with cotton growers for the harvest delivered to the state.

The governor also updated on preparations for cultural events and the opening of social and industrial facilities in the region in honor of the International Day of Neutrality.

After hearing the report, President Berdimuhamedov stressed the importance of conducting seasonal agricultural work in strict compliance with agronomic norms and gave the governor specific instructions.

The President also directed the governor to oversee the readiness of construction projects scheduled for completion in December.

Following this, Governor M. Annanepesov of Lebap Velayat provided an update on the state of affairs in his region.

The President also instructed the governor to ensure a high level of organization for the opening ceremonies of various facilities planned for December.

Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers T. Atahallyyev then reported on the progress of ongoing seasonal agricultural campaigns across the country.

He noted that efforts are being made to harvest cotton to the last boll and ensure even wheat sprouting through proper care, including mineral fertilization and irrigation.

Plowing and soil enrichment with mineral fertilizers are also underway in fields designated for next year’s cotton planting.

At the same time, the agricultural machinery fleet is being updated, and repairs are being made to equipment and machinery for the spring planting season.

Reconstruction work is being carried out at bioenterprises in the velayats to ensure an adequate supply of bio-products for farmers next year.

Summarizing the report, President Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of the agricultural sector in the national economy and the need to carry out current seasonal activities at a high level of quality and organization.

The President instructed the Vice-Premier to keep these matters under close supervision.

Addressing the meeting participants, President Berdimuhamedov highlighted the importance of wheat care, ordering strict control over field irrigation, soil fertilization, and timely weed control to ensure good sprouting.

He stressed the significance of harvesting “white gold” (cotton) to the last boll and keeping the preparation of fields for next year’s cotton planting under strict control.

The President also directed efforts to provide farmers with agricultural machinery, organize bio-product production, and ensure timely settlements with cotton and wheat producers.

In conclusion, President Berdimuhamedov instructed all involved to prepare thoroughly for the International Day of Neutrality and ensure that markets and stores are well-stocked during the holiday period.

The President wished the meeting participants good health, family well-being, and success in their tasks.
