On December 2, 2024, at the initiative of the Russian side, a telephone conversation took place between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov.
During the conversation, the sides discussed key aspects of the Turkmen-Russian agenda, focusing particularly on the prospects for the development of cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
The ministers emphasized the importance of continuing the inter-ministerial dialogue.
