The Esteemed President Received Turkey's Minister of Trade Ömer Bolat

On December 4, the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, received Turkey's Minister of Trade, Ömer Bolat, who arrived in our country to participate in the Turkish Republic Export Products Exhibition.

Expressing gratitude for the time allocated for the meeting, the guest conveyed warm greetings and wishes of happiness and prosperity to the Turkmen people from the President of the Republic of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. It was noted that Turkey attaches great importance to multifaceted cooperation with our country.

Thanking him for the kind words, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov extended his best wishes to the leader of the friendly nation, emphasizing his pleasure in welcoming the guest who had arrived in Ashgabat to attend the Turkish Republic Export Products Exhibition.

The President of Turkmenistan remarked that this exhibition, regularly held in Turkmenistan, is one of the key events promoting the enhancement of mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries and wished the event every success.

As noted during the meeting, the Republic of Turkey is one of the brotherly nations for Turkmenistan. Relations between our countries are long-term and strategic, based on mutual respect and support.

Turkmen-Turkish relations, which date back centuries, are successfully and consistently developing in various areas, including trade, energy, textile industry, construction, and other sectors.

Highlighting the importance of bilateral trade and economic partnerships, the President of Turkmenistan emphasized the introduction of new technologies and scientific advancements in various fields and international cooperation to modernize the economy progressively.

In this context, it was expressed with confidence that the Turkish Republic Export Products Exhibition, held in the capital, would contribute to elevating trade and economic relations between the two countries to a higher level and further developing business ties.

The head of state confirmed Turkmenistan’s readiness to expand bilateral fruitful cooperation, including increasing trade turnover and considering specific proposals in various areas of mutual interest.

At the conclusion of the meeting, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Turkey's Minister of Trade Ömer Bolat exchanged wishes for strong health and well-being, as well as peace and prosperity for the brotherly peoples of both countries.
