The National Leader of the Turkmen People, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, during his working visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, met with Crown Prince, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
Hero-Arkadag and the leader of the government of the friendly country, expressing satisfaction with the opportunity to discuss the priority directions of interstate relations, noted the rapid growth of mutually beneficial bilateral cooperation.
The National Leader of the Turkmen People, Hero-Arkadag, expressed gratitude to the Crown Prince, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, for the invitation to participate in the "Unified Water" Summit, congratulated him on the successful organization of the event, and conveyed heartfelt greetings from President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
The Crown Prince, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, emphasized that the meeting with Hero-Arkadag is a sign of special respect and friendship. He expressed gratitude to the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty for his active participation in the summit and extended, on his behalf and on behalf of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the best wishes to the head of the Turkmen state. The Crown Prince reaffirmed Saudi Arabia's commitment to the traditionally friendly ties and fruitful partnership with Turkmenistan.
During the meeting, it was noted that Turkmenistan, consistently pursuing a foreign policy based on the principles of neutrality and peacemaking, develops equal and constructive cooperation with all countries of the world, including the Arab states. The traditional relations with Saudi Arabia are a vivid example of this.
Turkmenistan and Saudi Arabia share similar or identical approaches to important issues on the international agenda, which serves as a reliable foundation for coordinating mutual efforts on the international stage.
During the discussion of the future Turkmen-Saudi partnership, it was emphasized that our countries cooperate effectively within the framework of international organizations, primarily the UN and other reputable institutions. The importance of the current summit and specific proposals put forward by Turkmenistan were noted in this context.
Both parties confirmed their intention to further strengthen bilateral trade and economic relations and expand cooperation in the energy, transport, and communication sectors.
Cultural and humanitarian ties are also successfully developing, serving as a bridge for bringing our peoples closer together and strengthening centuries-old friendship. In this regard, the commonality of spiritual and moral values that unite the two brotherly nations, who are committed to their ancient and wise traditions formed throughout history, holds great significance.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the National Leader of the Turkmen People, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, and the Crown Prince, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, exchanged their best wishes for each other and the brotherly peoples of the two countries.
